Membership
IIPM is a membership oriented organization. We have six grades of membership based on experience, responsibility and education. IIPM has six grades of membership namely:

  • Corporate Member
  • Fellow IIPM (FCP)
  • Oridnary Member (CP)
  • Associate Member (AIIPM)
  • Affiliate Member (GIIPM / AFI)
  • Student
  • Membership Grade and Requirement
    Corporate Member
  • Any company that is involved in the plantation value chain can qualify to join as a corporate member
  • Open to any stakeholder in the plantation value chain

  • Fellow IIPM (FCP)
  • IIPM Promoting / First Member; or
  • Individuals in top level positions such as Direction or Chairman; within the plantation sector; or
  • Been an Ordinary Member for at least five years can be considered as a Fellow Member based on merit and contribution
  • Membership fee: RM 200 per year

  • Ordinary Member (CP)
  • Those who hold PQE qualification; or
  • Those who hold PhD qualification with minimum of five articles / paper published or presented at seminar / conference or in journals related to the plantation value chain; or
  • Those who hold Master qualification with at least five years working experience and have published a minimum of three articles / paper related in the plantation field; or
  • General Manager and above in the plantation value chain; or
  • Individuals in senior positions in plantation upstream with a minimum of ten years or more
  • Membership fee: RM 150 per year

  • Associate Member (AIIPM)
  • Manager and Senior Manager level with more than five years but less than 10 years experience in plantation value chain; or
  • Resuorce person(s) for IIPM with a minimum Master qualification
  • Membership fee: RM 150 per year

  • Affiliate Member (GIIPM / AFI)
  • Anyone interested in the plantation value chain but not eligible to enroll in higher grades of membership; or
  • IIPM graduate; or
  • Graduates of Local or International University; or
  • Assistant Manager and Manager with less than five years experience in plantation upstream
  • Membership fee: RM 100 per year

  • Student
  • Anyone enrolled in recognized plantation program; or professional programs leading to Certified Planter; and
  • Age not less than 17 years
  • Membership fee: RM 50 per year

    plantation plantation management is often included as a factor of production along with machines, materials, and money. According to the basic task of a plantation plantation management is twofold marketing and innovation. Practice of modern plantation plantation management owes its origin to the century enquiry into low-efficiency and failures of certain enterprises. As a discipline, plantation management consists of the interlocking functions of formulating corporate policy and organizing, planning, controlling, and directing an organization's resources to achieve the policy's objectives. The directors and managers who have the power and responsibility to make decisions to manage an enterprise.The size of plantation management can range from one person in a small organization to hundreds or thousands of managers in plantation management multinational companies. In large organizations the board of directors formulates the policy which is then implemented by the chief executive officer. Some business analysts and financiers accord the highest importance to the quality and experience of the managers in plantation management evaluating an organizations current and future worth.
